Harlem Honeys & Bears Synchronize swimming team
The Harlem Honey and Bears were honored at the Third Annual Pro Voice Awards Banquet at the Grand Slam Banquet Hall in Harlem. This event honoring 12 dynamic outstanding “She-roes” was hosted by Ambassador Susan Johnson Cook.
The synchronized swim team were among many women who were honored for making a difference in our communities.
ProVoice, founded by Ambassador Susan Johnson Cook to ensure women have a voice in every arena of our lives, celebrating, motivating, accelerating, and creating more female leaders in every arena.
Harlem Honeys and Bears is a synchronized swim team organized in 1979, practicing at the Hansborough recreation center year around. Their ages range from 55 to 95 years old.
